B.A. (Chemistry), MBA - Hains Engineering Company Limited and Hains Technology Associates - is an industrial minerals exploration and economic geologist with more than 30 years of experience in development, use and analysis of industrial minerals properties and materials. He has been consulting in the field of industrial minerals markets and economics for the past 30 years. His experience encompasses most of the industrial minerals and several specialty metals, especially antimony, lithium, tantalum, niobium, and rare earths. Assignments have ranged from valuation reports to feasibility and market studies. Matt Bolu, M.Sc. P.Eng., Principal at BOMENCO Inc., Process (Metallurgical) Engineer - Mr. Bolu is a metallurgical engineer who has worked in the mineral processing and engineering industry for over 39 years. His professional career includes plant operations/management, process trouble shooting, design/development, project feasibility/economic studies, technical/due diligence analyses, detail design, and plant commissioning spanning over five continents. Matt has worked in base, precious and strategic metals’ plants as well as industrial mineral plants from the early 1970’s through to 1999 in various technical and operating positions. Additionally, he has been involved in engineering, design, development, and techno-economic analyses of a large number of projects around the globe since then.
Matt holds a M.Sc. degree in Minerals Engineering from the University of Birmingham, England and is a good standing member of APEGBC (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada, and meets the requirements for “Qualified Person” as defined in Canadian NI 43-101 rules.
